Literary Arts Festival

The 2nd annual Dream Big Festival will be held February 17 – 20, 2012. This year the festival will celebrate: literacy, activism, and peace. The annual Dream Big Literary Arts Festival is a four-day weekend that seeks to inspire youth to achieve their dreams, attain academic excellence, and become leaders in their communities. The festival features workshops, special events and a community service project that celebrate youth voice and creativity through the literary arts.

The festival will feature: poetry workshops, oratorical contest, spelling bee contest, individual slam, community service project, H.S Slam League Kick-Off, and new this year, an Emcee Battle. Visit www.pypm215.org for more information about the Philly Youth Poetry Movement.
